De Arbeiderspers is a publishing company based in Amsterdam and owned by Singel Publishers. The publishing company was established in 1929 by a merger of Electric Printing Company Vooruitgang in Amsterdam, since 1900 the publisher of the daily newspaper Het Volk, Printing Company and Publishing Company Voorwaarts in Rotterdam, the publisher of the Rotterdam newspaper Voorwaarts, and NV Boekhandel and Uitgevers Maatschappij Ontwikkeling in Amsterdam.
