Karl Marx

Karl Marx (May 5, 1818 - March 14, 1883) was a German philosopher, economist, historian, political theorist, sociologist, journalist and revolutionary socialist.
He is the founder of scientific socialism.
Marx spent most of his life from the 1840s onward developing and elaborating the theoretical and programmatic foundation of the socialist workers' movement.
His philosophical world outlook (historical materialism) took cues from Hegelian dialectics, French socialism, and British political economy.
