Joe Wilman

Joe Wilman was an American champion ten-pin bowler. He was known as one of the game’s leading instructors and was also an excellent radio and television bowling commentator and analyst. Wilman was born in Fontanet, Indiana and moved to Chicago, Illinois as a young boy. He was the second man to win four USBC (United States Bowling Congress) Open Championship Eagles and the first to roll two 2,000 all-events totals. Wilman was inducted into the USBC Hall of Fame in 1951.
