Farnsworth Wright

Farnsworth Wright (1888 – 1940) was the editor of the pulp magazine Weird Tales from November 1924–March 1940.

During Wright's tenure at Weird Tales, the magazine regularly published horror and fantasy by H. P. Lovecraft, Robert E. Howard and Clark Ashton Smith; occult detective stories by Seabury Quinn; and space operas by Edmond Hamilton. Wright also edited the magazine Oriental Stories (later renamed Magic Carpet Magazine) from 1930 to 1934.
