Ryan Strand Greenberg is an independent public art curator and photographer whose focus is preserving stories of place through visual storytelling. Through his curatorial and photographic practices, Ryan explores the intersection of art, ecology, history, and time.
As a curator, Ryan works primarily in Philadelphia Pennsylvania alongside community members and private, public, and civic institutions. He works with artists from all backgrounds on multidisciplinary projects that reinterpret public space and generate dynamic conversations about the past, present, and future of Philadelphia.
As a photographer, Ryan has worked in journalism, editorial, advertising, and fine art. His images have been published in many magazines, newspapers, and advertising campaigns nationally and internationally. Ryan’s photographs have been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions at notable institutions and galleries across the United States.
