I have just had a conversation with a user about page numbering for eBooks. Apparently, the listed page count varies depending on the font size.
Therefore, should the listed page count be recorded for eBooks?
I don't think it should be listed. In addition to the font size, the page count also varies depending on the size of the reading device.
I'm not sure about PDFs though, they might have a fixed page count.
Agreed. Page counts for eBooks are unnecessary.
That sounds a good strategy.
What about fonts? I have an ebook that has the default fonts listed, but they can be changed.
Are they books or kaleidoscopes? At the touch of another button you have a totally different book.
Maybe the solution is to only list the data that is immutable.
Well I think we can skip the fonts for eBooks also.
