Somewhere along the way I accidentally created two Richard Stevensons

This one is all good - https://www.bookogs.com/credit/440826-richard-stevenson

This should be merged/deleted - https://www.bookogs.com/credit/635762-richard-stevenson

Thanks and apologies!

Hi, we can't merge credits yet so we mark them as a duplicate, to do that just delete the information on the duplicate credit then mark in the title filed ''Duplicate'' you can then reuse that duplicate when you next need to make a new credit.

Have a question.

In my submittet Down Beat copies I have described the content in the notes and have also listed artists discussed in that copy in the notes.
Now someone links all the listed names via "about" again in my submitted copies so we have the Information twice.
What should have priority? Listing the content in the notes or simply link a name which is mentioned in the chapters of this Down Beat copy. Because the Down Beat is a jazz magazine most named artists apear also in the Discogs database. How shall I handle thios?
Thanks

For example I think this looks good:

As the Chapters list and the About/Subject credits have a different purpose, they are both useful.

The Chapters list can be used to list the exact content and the exact names of the articles, also including content that cannot be entered as an About/Subject credit.

On the other hand, the About/Subject credits link the magazine to the subjects and artists, which cannot be done in the Chapters list, at least not so that the magazine would appear on the credit pages.

Well thanks for your explanation.
I was somewhat upset when seeing all the changes but your explanation sounds reasonable and makes the different purposes clear.
Because I still have about 30 or more year volumes to go It was good to see the line ahead clear. Of course I can link the credits myself when submitting.
Thanks
W.
