From this history on Discogs:
https://www.discogs.com/artist/4994463-Elisabeth-Vig%C3%A9e-Lebrun/history#latest
user "belloga" added this credit link: https://www.bookogs.com/credit/590438-elisabeth-louise-vigee-le-brun

but this link "redirects" to this credit here:
https://books.discogs.com/credit/590438-john-butt-3
John Butt (3)

Why is that?

I'm guessing the original Credit was found to be a duplicate and was retitled at some stage. Unlike on Discogs, users have the ability to retitle unwanted Credits.

The correct Bookogs Credit link is https://books.discogs.com/credit/362013-elisabeth-vigee-le-brun

Note: the ID "590438" is the same in both URLs.

Ah, OK. Didn't know that... what a surprise then!

We could at least make it a practice to provide the link in the entry's history: 'duplicate OF http://(credit)' — to make it a bit clearer.
Rather that just type 'df' or 'dfhgjdjtjh' something when reusing an entry: https://books.discogs.com/credit/590438-john-butt-3/history
